Humble Ranch Properties

Book Your Stay

Humble Ranch offers a rare balance of privacy, proximity, and place. Thoughtfully restored accommodations and wide-open land come together to create a stay that feels both intentional & comfortable.

Ranch House Anchor

The Ranch House

4 BEDROOMS / 2 BATHROOMS / 10 GUESTS

The historic ranch house is original to the property. Thoughtfully restored, the home has space for your whole group! Offering the perfect blend of rustic comfort and convenient location, you’ll be 5 miles from downtown, 3 miles from the ski resort, and a short 1/4 mile walk to the Yampa River. No matter the season, you’ll have easy access to activities that appeal to every kind of traveler.

The Space

Inside, there’s plenty of space for your group to spread out. The home includes three private bedrooms, a bunk room, and two bathrooms. The large kitchen has modern appliances, plenty of counter space, and ample storage, making it practical for cooking meals for a crowd. Enjoy family style dining around the huge table with seating for 12, and kick back on the spacious sectional in front of the wood-burning fireplace.

Cabin Anchor

The Cabin

2 BEDROOMS / 1 BATHROOM / 4 GUESTS

Built in 2006, this thoughtfully designed modern cabin is a charming addition to the ranch. Its smaller footprint creates a cozy, comfortable retreat, perfect for couples or small families looking to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The Space

Inside, you'll find an open concept kitchen, dining area and living room with a spacious sectional beside the gas fireplace. The main bedroom offers a queen bed facing a bay window with the best view in the house. The second bedroom includes a twin-over-full bunk bed. A shared bathroom sits between the two bedrooms. Step out the back door to a large porch where you can relax and take in the view.

Large Private Group Stays

Looking to accommodate a large group? Booking both homes is a perfect solution for your needs! Ample space for up to 14 guests makes this option perfect for hosting your next retreat, family reunion or large group vacation!

The Common Space

During the summer months, enjoy the shared grassy gathering space complete with picnic tables, yard games, and a fire pit. While the Ranch House and Cabin are both private accommodations, a footpath through the common area connects the two homes. Just across the county road, a quarter-mile walking trail leads to the river for fishing, swimming, and peaceful riverside views.

In the winter, guests can take advantage of a privately groomed Nordic track, a sledding hill, and the opportunity to book a private snowcat tour through the surrounding landscape. With ample trailer parking and convenient access to year-round mountain recreation, the ranch is the perfect base to enjoy your Steamboat vacation.

Other Things to Note

During your stay you may be greeted by our friendly ranch dogs, but please keep them outside. We also share our home at the ranch with a small herd of horses. For everyone’s safety, please do not feed them and do not enter any closed gates.

Because of the working nature of the ranch and the animals on site, we are unable to accommodate guest pets at the ranch properties and appreciate you leaving them safely at home. At this time, horse interactions are reserved for scheduled program participants only.

House on 1th Anchor

The House on 11th Street
Downtown Steamboat Springs

2 BEDROOMS / 1 BATHROOM / 4 GUESTS

This historic house is separate from the ranch and located in the heart of downtown Steamboat just steps from the Yampa River and Core Trail. One of the oldest residential homes in town, where classic charm meets unbeatable downtown convenience. Just three blocks from the Farmers Market, one block to the bus stop with routes to the ski area, and a quarter mile to Howelsen Hill and the extensive trail network of Emerald Mountain, perfect for skiing, hiking, biking, or taking in the alpine scenery.

The perfect base for exploring Steamboat.

The Space

Inside this lovingly preserved house, discover a home that blends historic roots with modern touches. You will find two bedrooms: one with a king bed and the other with a bunk bed, modern kitchen, dining area, TV room, mud room with a washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a steam shower. The home is situated on a large private corner lot providing plenty of free parking.

Other Things to Note

Unlike the ranch properties, our downtown home is dog friendly and welcomes one well-behaved dog per stay. If you plan to bring your pup, please include them in your reservation, as a nonrefundable pet fee applies.

What Guests are Saying

"This place is perfect for families looking for space to move around, peaceful surroundings and a more ranch like feel. I was pulling a trailer with a side by side and was very happy to have a place on the property to park the trailer and know it was safe and secure. If you are looking to get away from the standard "condo" type Steamboat rental, please check out this property. Great hosts, awesome backstory on the ranch and not your typical mountain rental!"
